  • How often should windows be replaced?

    After 20 to 25 years, your home’s windows should be inspected. You may be able to repair windows to maintain value and temporarily prevent the cost of replacing your windows, however installing new windows is worth the investment. If there’s cracking and peeling around the exteriors, you feel drafts near the windows, or condensation frequently fogs up the glass, a window installation project may be necessary.

  • Can installing replacement windows reduce my heating and air conditioning costs?

    Yes. Regardless of the window type you choose, high-quality windows with thick, insulated glass are more energy-efficient than old, leaky single-pane clear glass windows.

  • How can I properly maintain my new windows?

    After getting windows professionally installed, maintaining the frames, glass, and screens by keeping them clean will ensure your windows look great. Gently wiping the frame of the window with a soft cloth should remove any loose debris that collects over time. Window glass can sufficiently be cleaned with household glass cleaners, however be sure to dry thoroughly to prevent streaks. Window screens can be removed and washed with warm, soapy water or left in place and cleaned with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust.
